REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

REGISTRATION FEES (all amounts in Euro)
All congress delegates, including invited speakers, must register in advance of the congress.
Invited speakers will receive a dedicated communication regarding their registration procedure. All available registration fees for delegates are shown in the following table:

The full registration fee includes:

• Entrance to plenary lectures, symposia, poster sessions, exhibition and industry-sponsored workshops;
• Congress information package;
• Certificate of attendance;
• Coffee and tea service during intermissions;
• Opening Ceremony and Get-together Party (Sunday 3 June 2007);
• Concert (Monday 4 June 2007);
• Closing Ceremony and Cocktail (Thursday 7 June 2007);
• Amsterdam public transportation ticket.

The day registration fee includes, for the day of registration only:

• Entrance to plenary lectures, symposia, poster sessions, exhibition and industry-sponsored workshops;
• Congress information package;
• Certificate of attendance;
• Coffee and tea service during intermissions.

Registration for accompanying person includes:

• Opening Ceremony and Get-together Party (Sunday 3 June 2007);
• Concert (Monday 4 June 2007);
• Closing Ceremony and Cocktail (Thursday 7 June 2007);
• Half day tour - see page 28 (please indicate your choice on the registration form);
• Amsterdam public transportation ticket.

REMITTANCE

• CREDIT CARD (for online registrations only)
• BANK TRANSFER using the paper registration form (.pdf)

If paying by bank transfer, a copy of the transfer receipt must be included with the registration form. Registrations without proof of payment cannot be accepted.
On-line Registrations must be paid by credit card only.
On site registrations must be paid by credit card or cash only. Cheques will not be accepted.
The Organising Secretariat will send confirmation of registration upon receipt of payment by e-mail: be sure your e-mail address is filled in clearly and correctly. Since only those registered for the congress will be allowed to attend the scientific sessions, the Organising Secretariat kindly requests that participants show proof of payment when checking in at the registration desk.

PERSONAL INVITATION

CURRENCY

NAME BADGE

Participants will be given a name badge when they check in at the registration desk. The name badge must be worn at all times, because only registered participants will be allowed to enter the congress area. The name badge must also be worn at the social events organised as part of the congress.

VISAS

Foreign people may need a visa to enter The Netherlands. Whether a visitor requires a visa depends on the nationality and how long he/she intends to stay in The Netherlands.

The Organising Secretariat is available for any assistance you may need.

BURSARIES

• a scientific CV;
• a proof of age (such as a copy of a degree certificate);
• a letter of recommendation from the National Society concerned.

As from now Bursary application has been closed

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Cancellations must be sent in writing or e-mailed to the Organising Secretariat. The amount of 80% of the fee paid will be refunded for cancellations received by 15 March 2007. Until 30 April 2007 a refund of 50% of the fee will be provided. After 30 April 2007 no refunds will be issued.
All refunds will be provided in Euro after the congress.

CANCELLATION OF THE CONGRESS

The Organising Secretariat reserves the right to cancel the congress, shift venue, or change the dates without notice, in case of force majeure. Neither MZ Congressi nor the Organising Committee shall be liable for any damage claims.

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE

The certificate of attendance will be issued to those who are properly registered, only for the day/s they are actually taking part to the congress. The certificate of attendance will be available at the registration desk and must be picked up just before departure.
