Program Sunday 3 June Monday 4 June Tuesday 5 June Wednesday 6 June Thursday 7 june

Both the scientific programme and the simultaneous exhibition of EUROMEDLAB 2007 Amsterdam will be held in the Amsterdam RAI convention centre.
The scientific programme will include plenary lectures, symposia, poster presentations, lunch round tables and industry-sponsored workshops.

PLENARY LECTURES

Each congress day will start with a plenary lecture. Leading experts in the fields of Genetics, Obesity, Prenatal Diagnosis and Proteomics have accepted our invitation to deliver plenary lectures at EUROMEDLAB 2007 and bring congress delegates up-to-date on these fascinating topics.

SYMPOSIA

In the morning and afternoon four parallel symposia are dedicated to a variety of topics. These symposia will be arranged in such a way as to minimize any overlap between potentially competing symposia.
Symposia typically consist of four invited lectures and two selected free communications (see: section on abstract submission). Three symposia will be in the form of interactive sessions in which the participants actively take part in the discussion of patient cases. Four symposia are organized by IFCC divisions.

FREE COMMUNICATIONS - POSTERS AND ORAL COMMUNICATIONS

Free contributions by registered congress delegates will be predominantly in the form of poster presentations. The poster sessions are scheduled in the middle of the day and thus form the core part of each congress day.
Posters will be classified by topic (see section on abstract submission for topics list) and each topic will be assigned a specific congress day (Monday-Wednesday). Posters will be on display from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on the selected day.
Since the programme gives ample time to poster viewing and discussion with their presenters, poster sessions will evolve in true scientific markets.
A small number of abstracts will be selected for oral presentation in the symposium dedicated to the topic of the abstract.
